County Clerk is also Clerk of the County Commission. The clerk keeps the official records of the body and keeps
a record of all appropriations and allowances made by the county commission and all claims
chargeable against the county.

In addition to keeping the minutes, the county clerk
has the following duties as clerk of the county commission:

1. Notify each member of a special or called session not less than five days in advance of the meeting.

2. Present each resolution approved by the county commission to the county executive for his or her signature promptly after the meeting of the county
commission; the clerk must then report the approval or non-approval at the next meeting in the reading of the minutes.

3. Notify members of vacancies which must be filled by the county commission.

4. Carry out any other duties required by local rules of procedures adopted by resolution of the legislative body or required by statute.
